Time In Place // Re-purposing and interpreting existing snapshots of movement as generative graphic design in an environment where function compliments form. This is Time in Place; an interactive clock visualizing the physical movement of people and traffic at a given location. Watch as the design changes over time as people ebb and flow through the intersection of Pike and Broadway in Seattle, WA. Grab the hour hand and move it back in time to get a historical snapshot of activity.

Barcelona. Not a typical view of the city but one I thought was interesting.

Just an idea I had for a reactive physical installation. This shows the daily processes but I could really get into showing much more interesting visualizations. The random gallery patron might stand in front of this 6ft wide visualizer as it opens up and shows them their real-time heartbeat. Or perhaps the sound in the gallery. Currently working on making this thing a reality.
